C-C-Creations Travels Again!

Hi Everyone,

As most of you know, we love to travel and our beading business allows us that opportunity quite often. Our most recent trip, over spring break, was another trip of a lifetime! The four of us (Betty, Carol, Kathy and Jen) went on a week-long road trip from Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon and then four days in Las Vegas. It was fabulous and so much fun! Even though gas prices are high, we had a blast touring this area of the southwest and laughed all the way! That time spent together creates memories that will last us a lifetime. And we got some great photos!

Here are the girls early in our trip. The car was packed to the gills when we left Vegas for home! Kathy couldn't see out the back and Betty and Jen had three bags in their laps. (Yes, we
did go shopping.)
Zion was beautiful and we couldn't have asked for better weather. Rain and wind was predicted but as you can see, we really lucked out!

This area in the park is called Court of the Patriarchs.

And this is the waterfall at the top of the canyon in an area called Temple of Sinawava. From Zion we drove out of the canyon, through the Mt. Carmel tunnel (1.1 miles long!) and on to Bryce. When we arrived at Bryce, it was 28 degrees, snowing and the wind was blowing 22 mph. Brrr! But again, it was beautiful. The snow just made the geological features of the canyon stand out even more. We knew it was going to be cold and windy so we brought warm hats and gloves. We are soooo glad we did!

The elevation at the top of the canyon was about 9100 ft. You could tell that the air was thinner .
After Bryce we travelled to the Grand Canyon. That was very special and VERY big. Photos do not do this great land justice. It is definitely a "bucket list" place to visit yourself!

Again, we had great weather and we felt so blessed to be able to share this time together! We know we couldn't have taken this trip without our dear friends and customers, who have supported our jewelry business for the last six years. So, from the four of us, to you, THANK YOU! We really appreciate you and value your friendship in so many ways!
